We’re exploring the ocean floor in AR by making a viewfinder with our hands. With this intuitive gesture, we’re able to dynamically focus and expand the density of a photogrammetry point cloud by making the rectangle formed by our fingers bigger or smaller.

Like many of you, we’ve been spending our days connecting with each other through Zoom. Instead of interacting through a grid of webcams, how can we make video chat a fun space for personal connection?

To explore the possibilities, we made a tool that transforms the Zoom grid into an interactive virtual environment. In this clip, Glowbox’s technical artist Holly uses this tool to transform one of our daily meetings into a camping road trip.
